It’s back, it’s bigger, and it’s even better!
Despite the name, the pie competition is open to all-comers with all sorts of pies – meat, vegetarian, fruit – you name it, if it’s enclosed in pastry you can enter it. There’ll be separate sections for home bakers and professionals, with an overall champion of champions winning our coveted trophy!
Following on from last year’s success (despite the very worst weather imaginable) we’re expanding the pie championships to include quiche, and we’re inviting entries from individual home bakers, professional pie makers, butchers and hopefully some young fledgling bakers too.
